3D Website Design
May 4, 2021

Prometheus Fuels is one of those rare projects where the mission itself demands a bolder, more immersive digital experience. The brand is built on breakthrough clean-energy technology, and our job was to create a website that didn’t just explain it, but made people feel the future they’re trying to create.
We approached this as a storytelling challenge, a design challenge, and a technical challenge all at once.
What came out of it is a fully immersive 3D web experience that visually translates a complex scientific process into something intuitive, emotional, and unforgettable.
From the start, we knew a traditional website wouldn’t work. The technology behind Prometheus Fuels is advanced, abstract, and hard to visualize. Static layouts would never communicate the scale or the innovation.
We decided early on that this experience had to be:
The entire process revolved around building a digital world the user could enter, not just scroll through.
Before designing anything, we went deep into how the Prometheus system works.
We broke it down into stages:
These steps became the backbone of the 3D narrative.
For each stage, we defined:
We treated the process almost like building scenes for a film.
Once the narrative was clear, we began constructing the 3D environments.
We focused on:
Atmospheric depth
Soft gradients, fluid transitions, and ambient movement to create a sense of limitless possibility.
Futuristic geometry
Shapes that communicate innovation, precision, and energy flow.
Physics-inspired movement
Particles, light paths, and energy pulses to visually represent invisible scientific processes.
Smooth navigation
Every scene had to feel like a continuation of the previous one, maintaining momentum throughout the experience.
This wasn’t decoration.
This was functional storytelling in 3D space.
We created interactions that encourage the user to explore, not just read.
Examples include:
The goal was simple.
Users should understand the Prometheus technology without ever feeling like they were reading technical documentation.
3D design is powerful, but it can easily become overwhelming.
We focused on clarity.
We established:
We designed not just the visuals, but the feeling of moving through the brand.
The site needed to feel premium, forward-thinking, scientific, and hopeful at the same time. Every decision was made with that emotional tone in mind.
Large 3D sites often struggle with:
We engineered the experience to remain smooth by:
The result is a high-fidelity 3D site that still performs cleanly across modern devices.
The final experience does exactly what Prometheus needed:
Most of all, it makes people understand and feel the significance of turning air into clean fuel.
This wasn’t just a 3D website.
This was a digital expression of the future.
